Kings Park West Community Association
Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
October 8, 2025
Attendance: Maureen Pettis, Carolyn LaRosa, Sharon Decker, Diane Jeffers, Jim Bovino, and Larry Velte.
Absent: Mark Heppner
The meeting was held at Laurel Ridge Elementary School and called to order at 7:28 p.m.
Approval of September 10, 2025 Meeting Minutes: The minutes were approved.
Treasurer’s Report - Financial statements were not available for September 30, 2025. The information will be forwarded to the Board when available and discussed at the next meeting.
Old Business:
- Tree Work - No work reported.
- Entrance at Sideburn - The decision was made to offer to homeowners the opportunity to maintain the property around the sign. If they do not want to maintain the property with additional flora, then the decision was to approve Ryan Landscaping to remove mulch and install sod for $1,350.00 The vote was 5 in favor and 1 opposed.
- Civic Association - Maureen is in the process of arranging coffee with the Civic Association president.
- Architectural Committee/Commonwealth Fence: Maureen sent a letter.
New Business:
- Annual Assessments - Larry presented a draft letter to raise the assessment and plans for a meeting.
- Website - Larry will ask BCM about managing the website.
- 5267 Pumphrey fence approved.
- 10441 Collingham addition approved.
Next meeting is November 12 at 7:30pm, at Laurel Ridge Elementary School.
