Meeting called to order: 7:35 p.m.

Approval of April 2019 Meeting Minutes: Approved 5-0.

Treasurer’s Report: April 2019 financials were not provided in time for the meeting. Treasurer will move $1000.00 from CAB Operating Account to the Reserve Study CD.

Old Business:

  • Annual Assessments/Liens – Fourteen properties have liens due to unpaid annual assessments owed to KPWCA. Board will request information from Burke Community Management Group (BCMG) about its fees for the administration and processing of unpaid assessments and liens.
  • NVTC – The Association will continue to engage with Supervisor John Cook's office concerning the need for stormwater management improvements necessitated by upstream development of the Northern Virginia Training Center site and the potential development of a housing community in the area northeast of Braddock Road and Roberts Road.
  • Annual Meeting – Board reviewed logistics in preparation for annual meeting. The annual meeting is scheduled for May 15, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.

New Business:

  • 10332 Commonwealth Blvd – A neighbor of homeowner at 10332 Commonwealth Blvd advised the board a large shed was being built on that property. Due to the size of shed and proximity to property lines, the shed may be in violation of county ordinances and KPWCA covenants. Board will send homeowner—who failed to obtain authorization from the Board—a letter asking that he cease construction of the shed.

Hearing no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
