Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

May 9, 2012

In attendance: Joe Meyer, Armand Fournier, Jim Messinger, Mark Heppner, Linda Bufano.

Meeting called to order at 7:31. 

Approval of April Meeting Minutes: Joe moved to approve the April minutes, Jim seconded.  April minutes were approved 5-0.

Treasurer’s Report: The board was informed that the current checking account balance as of April 30, 2012 is $2,560.00; the savings account is at $10,407.87; there are 2 general fund CD’s in the amount of $5,233.18 each, and the reserve CD is $13,434.77 bringing the grand total to: $36,869.00.

Annual Meeting:   As of today's meeting, there were 65 proxies, with the addition of the 7 Board members, this would provide a quorum needed to hold the annual meeting on May 14, 2012.

Encroachment & Adverse Possession: Encroachment letters have not been sent out.  We will discuss this issue at the annual meeting and send the letters out to the 8 properties discussed at the April meeting.

Tree Survey: J&L Tree service cut down the three trees discussed at the April meeting for $850.00. 

Appreciation for Service by Jim Messinger:  Mark made a motion to thank Jim Messinger for his service as a Board Member and Treasurer of the KPWCA.  Linda seconded.

Hearing no new business, Linda motioned to adjourn; Joe seconded. Concluded at 7:58 p.m.
